Memories last forever

Well, over the past several years since I had my own children, I've really come to realize how precious photos can be. Granted my children are only 4 and 3, I continuously look at their pictures over and over. I made it a point that I had pictures of them from the time they were born. I regret to say that I have never seen myself as a kid because my albums were burned in a fire when I was little. But anyways, with new technology, I have gotten into all this digital stuff, from creating slideshows to digital scrapbooking. I used to spend countless of hours creating scrapbooks but again with new technology...I have become quite savy on photoshop, that I now can create photobooks, digital scrapbooks and more. I have been avidly taking pictures for the last 7 -8 years. Every event or place I go to these days, I always bring a camera. My husband thinks I am crazy.

Well, now it's even worst. I got my first DSLR over a year ago and I have become extremely addicted. I started this as hobby and now I've done a couple paid jobs. Wow! what a surprise! I never thought that doing something I find so fun and exciting to get paid for. I really did it for my kids, my family and my friends. I done a couple of family portraits, headshots and I am doing my first small chapel wedding this weekend. I also just booked my first BIG wedding in May. This is such an exciting time in my life. I just love taking pictures and sharing them with the world. Although I just started this hobby/new career, my lack of experience does not equate for my ability and love to take pictures. So anyone who cares to give me a chance, I would love to.
